The
listing of CMT marked the era of a new investment product in Singapore.
Despite the existence of REITs in other markets, CMT was a first
for Singapore and we recognise that many investors are not familiar
with its investment characteristics. Consequently, investor relations
is an integral function of management in our pursuit to deliver
beyond Unitholders’ expectations and also to educate the broader
Singapore investment community.
We
are committed to providing high transparency standards in reporting.
Testament to this was the CMT offering circular drafted at IPO and
the contents contained within this Annual Report. CMT was also an
early adopter of quarterly reporting with the inaugural Q3 results
briefing held in October 2002. The briefing was well attended by
industry analysts and the media signifying a keen interest in CMT
and the emerging industry.
We
maintain an open door policy with all investors and welcome investor
meetings and/or tours of the CMT malls.
