Tampines Mall is an enclosed shopping centre which incorporates
two basement levels of car parking and five levels of retail space.
It is ideally situated adjacent to the Tampines MRT station and
bus interchange, which generates a high volume of pedestrian traffic.
The
shopping centre has more than 700,000 people residing in its main
catchment area, which accounts for approximately 75% of its customer
base.
During
the year, management was able to increase rental revenue by creating
a number of new tenancies. This was achieved by converting some
of the common area into lettable space.
The
objective for Tampines Mall is to optimise financial performance,
strengthen market positioning as the leading suburban mall in the
East and North East region and continuously enhance customers
shopping experience.
