Chief Executive Officer

Seck Guan is responsible for the overall management of CMT: setting
and implementing CMT’s strategies, identifying and implementing
new opportunities for CMT and reporting to the Board of CapitaMall
Trust Management Limited (CMTML). Ultimately, he is committed to
ensuring that the Trust delivers superior investment returns to
unitholders. Seck Guan’s experience is highlighted in the section
on the Board of Directors.
Finance Manager -
The Finance Manager’s responsibilities rests with driving the key
areas in accounting, taxation, treasury, secretariat, compliance,
reporting and administrative functions, both for the existing operations
as well as evaluation of new projects.
Siew Yan has for the past 10 years been actively involved in the
structuring, sourcing and management of funds for CapitaLand Commercial
Limited (CCL) and its subsidiaries to finance property acquisitions.
Her other key responsibilities included the management of the treasury
operations, accounting and settlement of the CCL Group. She was
also involved in the finance-related aspects of the divestment of
properties by the CCL Group. She obtained a Bachelor of Accountancy
degree from the National University of Singapore.
Beng Chee has more than four years of real estate investment and
asset management experience. He graduated from the Oxford University
with a Bachelor of Arts in Physics (Honours) and a Master of Business
Administration (Accountancy) from the Nanyang Technological University
in Singapore.
Investment Managers -
The Investment Managers’ main responsibility lies in implementing
and monitoring the Trust’s strategy at a property level. This
involves working hand-in-hand with the Property Manager to
ensure that the property business plans are executed diligently.
Other parts of their role include advising on asset enhancement
initiatives within the existing portfolio, as well as identifying
and evaluating potential acquisitions or divestments.
Beng Chee also holds an additional portfolio as the Acting Finance
Manager with effect from 16 March 2004. His experience is highlighted
in the section on the Finance Manager.
Richard was a Manager of Investments and Asset Management for CCL,
before joining CMTML. He has over 10 years of real estate experience
including property investment, asset management, property development,
property management and marketing. He graduated with Honours from
the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Science
(Estate Management) and a Master of Science (Real Estate).
Jesline has been involved in creating new property funds in both
local and overseas markets, as well as evaluating new investment
opportunities in real estate and related products. Prior to joining
CapitaLand, she was a Corporate Finance Manager with the Singapore
Press Holdings Group with responsibilities for evaluating strategic
investment opportunities and managing other corporate finance and
planning projects. Jesline holds a First Class Honours degree in
Bachelor of Business Administration from the National University
of Singapore, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Investor Relations Manager

Janice is responsible for all communications with CMT’s unitholders
and other key stakeholders with the aim of upholding high transparency
standards. This includes the production of annual reports and quarterly
performance announcements. Prior to joining CMTML, Janice was the
Marketing Communications Manager at Junction 8, overseeing the advertising
and promotions of the mall. She holds a Bachelor degree in Arts
with distinction from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology
in Australia.
Research Manager -
Jack is responsible for various research initiatives that provide
key market information and performance benchmarks for the management
of CMT and its property portfolio. His work covers the realms of
the general economy, financial market, real estate market and retail
industry. In addition, he implements shopper surveys, focus group
discussions and other consumer research for the malls. Jack holds
a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance (with distinction)
from the University of Leeds, and a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)
degree from the National University of Singapore. He was previously
with the Singapore office of property consultants, Cushman &
Wakefield, as Head of Advisory Services.
Fund Analyst -
Joanna is the Fund Analyst of CMTML. She is responsible for developing
and maintaining financial and asset models to analyse the performance
of CMT at the property level, as well as preparing asset reports
on the Properties. Prior to joining CMTML, Joanna served as an Asset
Analyst with Lend Lease Asia Holdings where she was actively involved
in analytical work on new investment opportunities. A graduate of
the University of New South Wales, Joanna holds a Master of Commerce
degree in Advanced Finance.
